Corridor/ Verandah The verandah wall will be used for the display of basic information regarding the school as well as certain learning elements for the school children. Colour Scheme – Verandah wall will be cement painted with Peach Colour Lower border in the Verandah wall – A running Border of 1 foot height from the ground level will be painted with local cultural painting. Wherever pillars are there; the same border of 2.5 feet height will be painted on the pillars as well
Front to the staircase/ approach to the verandah Picture of a Wall Clock with pendulum showing 10’ o clock will be painted in 3 feet height and 2 feet width size. Elements along the Verandah from left to right School Cabinet and Meena Manch Information Board – A 4 feet x 4 feet size black board will be painted with table in Oriya (given in booklet) to display the list of nominated / elected School Cabinet ministers. Ama Lekha Ama Chitra – A soft pin-up board of 4 feet x 4 feet size with blue colour velvet cloth cover will be fixed to the wall. The space will be used for displaying the creative arts and writings of the students. Map of Odisha – A clearly visible map of Odisha with outlines of districts and names therein will be painted in 4 feet x 4 feet size. The boundary of the district in which the school is located will be highlighted in red colour School Information Board – A 4 feet x 4 feet size black board will be painted with table in Oriya (given in booklet) to display the basic statistical information regarding the school. In the daily attendance section, the rows will be drawn as per the sections available in the school Financial Display Board – A 4 feet x 4 feet size black board will be painted with table in Oriya (given in booklet) to display the information regarding the financial resources received by the school for its development Idea Box (Ama Katha, Ama Matta) – An aluminum drop-in box of 1 feet height and x 1.5 feet width size with facility of locking the outlet will be fixed on the wall to facilitate access to all stakeholders to put in their suggestion, comments and feedback on the school related activities. Height Measurement Scale – A 2 feet width x 7 feet height size Height scale to be pained from ground level. This will be used for keeping the physical record of the children as well as to help the children to have estimation of the measurement in terms of length.
