Classrooms
The Teacher’s Wall: (The right hand side wall of the teacher facing the class)
  • The wall has been dedicated to teachers for their preparatory activities
  • A running wooden baton with clips will be fixed above the window level across the teacher’s wall. The teacher will hang the drawing sheets of their subject wise monthly activities as directed in the SAMADHAN.
  • Question Bank – A cloth hanger of 3 feet height  x 2 feet width with 6 pockets having applique work will be hanged on the teacher’s wall to keep subject wise questions.  
 
Ground level blackboard
  • The running ground level blackboard of 2.5 feet height will be painted from the surface level in the Student’s and Teacher’s wall with variation of plain, ruling and dot surface in the classrooms for Std. I, II and III. Above the ground level blackboard a running strip of 6 inches height will be painted with colorful jumbled alphabets (Oriya and English) and numbers for the recognition purpose.
  • However, from class IV upward no ground level blackboard will be painted in the classrooms.
 
The Barnali Wall: (The front wall of the backboard wall)
  • The Barnali wall has been dedicated to the activity based learning elements / pictures for the students. This wall will have grade specific activity-based learning elements from the resource book “Barnali”. 
  • The size of the Barnali pictures will be of 4 feet height x 3 feet width.  If there is no blackboard in this wall then 3 Barnali elements will be painted. However, if there is a blackboard in this wall 2 Barnali elements will be painted. Care should be taken with regard to the height of the picture, as these should be well within the reach of the children’s hand so that they can use it with the help of teacher’s instruction.
